Moza Coach ("we", "our", or "the app") is a fitness tracking application available on Android and iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information you provide directly when using the app:

Account information: username and password (stored securely, password is hashed)
Workout data: exercises, sets, reps, weights, and session timestamps you log
Nutrition data: meals, food items, and calorie/macro entries you log
Bodyweight logs: weight entries you record manually
Profile information: any optional profile details you choose to add

We do not collect location data, contacts, camera access (unless you voluntarily upload a photo), or any background sensor data.

2. How We Use Your Data

To provide and operate the app's core features (workout tracking, nutrition logging, stats)
To display your progress, history, and reports within the app
To send push notifications (e.g. PR achievements) if you grant permission
To allow optional social features such as sharing sessions or browsing splits

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on a secured server. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorised access.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services:

Cloudinary — for storing user-uploaded images (profile photos, post media)
Expo / Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) / Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) — for delivering push notifications

These services have their own privacy policies and handle data according to their respective terms.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the email below.

6. Children's Privacy

Moza Coach is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Export your data (available via the Export feature in the app)

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
